Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara
Your 4-day Kenya and Tanzania safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, heading to the world-famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Upon arrival, check in at your safari lodge or tented camp and enjoy lunch before embarking on your first afternoon game drive. The Mara’s open savannahs are teeming with wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, zebras, and wildebeest. As the sun sets over the plains, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay under the vast African skies.
Days 2: Full Day Safari Experience
Spend a full day exploring the Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. The park offers excellent opportunities to witness predators in action and observe large herds of herbivores grazing across its iconic landscapes. Between game drives, you can relax at your lodge or visit a nearby Maasai village for cultural encounters. Dinner and overnight are at your lodge or camp, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild.
Day 3: Cross into Tanzania
After breakfast, depart Maasai Mara and drive across the border into Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s legendary safari destination. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge or camp and enjoy lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive. The Serengeti is renowned for its vast plains, abundant wildlife, and breathtaking vistas. Spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and a variety of bird species as you explore this iconic African wilderness. Dinner and overnight are at your Serengeti accommodation.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park and Departure
Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, when wildlife is most active and the golden morning light creates spectacular photographic opportunities. After breakfast, check out from your lodge and begin your return journey, either back to Nairobi or onward to your next destination.
