About Akagera
Akagera is one of Africa's great conservation comebacks. Lions were reintroduced in 2015 and eastern black rhino in 2017, making this savanna, papyrus swamp and lake mosaic a full Big Five park again.
It means Rwanda is the only country where you can trek mountain gorillas and see the Big Five within the same week, without a single internal flight.
