About Amboseli

Amboseli is one of the finest places in the world to get close to large, free-roaming elephant herds, with Africa's highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, rising dramatically in the background across the border in Tanzania.

The park's swamps and the seasonal Lake Amboseli sustain wildlife even deep in the dry season, and it offers some of the most photographed wildlife-and-mountain scenery in East Africa.
