About Tsavo West
Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness of volcanic hills, lava flows and swamps. Its most famous attraction is Mzima Springs, where fifty million gallons of crystal-clear water gush from beneath parched lava rock, forming an oasis where hippos and crocodiles can be viewed from an underwater observation point.
The eerie Shetani lava flows add to the park's otherworldly landscape.
