About Lake Naivasha & Crescent Island
Lake Naivasha is the most beautiful of the Rift Valley freshwater lakes, a lush, papyrus-fringed haven famous for its hippos, fish eagles and over 400 bird species.
Crescent Island, a private sanctuary jutting into the lake, is one of the very few places in Kenya where you can walk unaccompanied among giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and waterbuck.
