About Queen Elizabeth
Uganda's most popular savanna park spreads from Lake George to Lake Edward beneath the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains.
It is best known for the tree-climbing lions of the Ishasha sector, the Kazinga Channel with one of the densest hippo populations in the world, the chimpanzees of Kyambura Gorge and a bird list of more than 600 species, the highest of any protected area in East Africa.
